- Advanced Personal Trainer course (Level 2):
18 years of age, or level 1, or Associate Degree in Human Sciences or Nutrition
Nutrition Tech Certifed
- Professional Personal Trainer course:
Professional Athlete or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Sciences or Nutrition, PT level 2
- Nutrition Tech course:
18 years of age and High School Diploma
- Nutrition Consultant course:
18 years of age, Nutrition Tech Certification
- Olympic Coach course:
18 years of age, and High School Diploma, and Level 1 PT Certification
- Youth Health and Fitness Instructor course:
18 years of age, High School Diploma, and Level 1 PT Certification
- Kickboxing Instructor course:
18 years of age, High School Diploma and Level 1 PT Certification
- Boxing instructor course:
18 years of age, High School Diploma, and Level 1 PT Certification

Personal Trainers Certification Entry Qualification Requirements:

- High school diploma for Personal Trainer Level 1, and Nutrition Tech certification courses
- Associates Degree in Human Sciences for Personal Trainer Level 2
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Professional Athlete for Professional Private Trainer course

Everyone is qualified to start the Personal Training course of study.
If you are already an athlete and want to be recognized for your hard work, PROPTA will reward you. If you are a competitor from any sport and belong to any association, PROPTA will take that into consideration and reward you with an advanced level certification. PROPTA recognizes that you have put in a lot of hard work to be able to achieve your status as a successful athlete. You must first register for your application to be approved prior to the course of study.
Seminars, Credit and Certification Renewal
Ongoing PROPTA education is provided at the PROPTA seminars which are held periodically. Certification recipients gain credits for attending seminars to maintain active status for all certifications.
Enrollment and Approval
To go through the approval process, everyone is required to register and pay the course fee. A full refund will be issued if not approved.
