Diciplinary Actions
Disciplinary action will be taken immediately against a certified member:
1. When the PTA become aware of an incident that may jeoperdise the integrity of a Certified member and/or the company.
2. The PTA will conduct an investigation immediately to determine the cause and whether to take any disciplinary action against any member or members involved.
List of Complaints
Submitting falsified information and documents to obtain a Certification.
1. Borrowing documents and falsifying Certifications.
2. Assisting in the borrowing Certifications.
3. Submitting fraudulent documentation.
4. Illegal use of Certification / card.
5. Falsifying Certification (legal action will be enforced).
A complaint could be submitted by anyone, or maybe initiated by the PTA.
Actions Taken
1. After the investigation is concluded, the party at fault will be suspended and placed on probation.
2. The Certified member will be required to return his Certificate and card to the PTA commission.
3. The name of the violator will be placed on the list over the internet to protect all other members.
4. The PTA commission will then decide whether to press any charges against that individual.
5. The PTA will not tolerate any illegal activities.
Certification Rules and Regulations

To All Students:

Certification Preparation Procedure

Upon acceptance and receipt of your certification fees, and all your information needed to process you application, you are sent all the USPTA study material. It is suggested to study your material before taking your exam. All the questions arising in the exam will be from the booklets & videos provided by the USPTA. You are allowed 60 days for studying and completing your written exams. If the time expires, you will be charged an additional $100 dollars to reinstate you application. After the expiration time and reinstatement, you will have a chance to submit any written exams or schedule any practical exam within 30 days or your certification and your application will be revoked and no refund will be applied.

Certification Exam
You will have the opportunity to take your written test regular mail or via E-mail, or online at your convenience. Just remember that you will only be given 60 days to complete your testing from the date of receiving them by mail. The PTA keep all records for all mail sent to everyone World Wide. Laps time is considered. After the 60 days are over you will be considered late and you must pay a $100 dollars to reinstate your application for your testing to be considered. A date is found on the exam papers for your information of the due date for all exams.

The score of 85% or higher is required to pass all combined exams. You will get the results within few days of submission. You must remember that the written exam is one part of the examination process for you to graduate, the other part is a practical exam that you must take with a director or/and IFBB PRO to complete the examination process. Everyone must complete all exams, the written and the practical to graduate and get certified. NO EXCEPTION.

Required Ongoing Education (ROE)
You will be required to attend seminars and clinics or DVD lectures home study along with written exams given by the USPTA, or you may attend State certified colleges or Universities to obtain credits related to human sciences.  Written exam will be required at these seminars. You will have the Honor to meet the Best of the Best in this field, including Doctors, Lawyers, and IFBB Professional Bodybuilders and Fitness athletes.

If you are not in the area and are not able to attend, you will have the opportunity to purchase our CD’s and DVD’s covering all of our events. Or if you are attending a college or University, you may submit your credits to USPTA to obtain credits toward your Certification.

Failure to have met 8 credits in one year time, your Certification will be revoked and you will have to return it to USPTA office. All revoked Certification will be announced on the website on the internet.

 

PTA Internship clinic
All students must obtain credit units throughout the year as required ongoing education. The Private Trainers Association has implemented a new program where the student can attend and observe any director or examiner on work site while training clients to gain the knowledge and learn proper movement, proper application, proper spotting, program application, business, communication and more... While attending the internship program the student will earn a 2 credit units for every 4 hours spent with the director or examiner.

An appointment must be made with the office to facilitate the procedure and approve the internship hours. A certification of completion is issued for record keeping from the PTA office upon completion.

All internship credit units’ fees must be paid in advance prior to approval by the PTA office. All appointments made will not be cancelled or refunded.

A fee of $50.00 dollars per unit must be charged to be applied toward your certification for ROE (required ongoing education).

You may choose the director for your internship clinic ROE’s. An appointment with the PTA office must be made prior to partaking any and all Internships.

Time of the essence
As stated above that you have 60 days from receipt of your books to complete the examination process and submit all the material to the PTA office, either by mail or e-mail. Fax will not be accepted. If you send your exams by mail. Make sure that you have an extra copy incase the exam is lost. The PTA is not responsible for lost exams.

After 60 days are over and you have not submitted your written exams or taken your practical exam, you will be given one last chance to resubmit and reinstate your material to the PTA office. A 30 days period is applied along with a reinstatement fee of $250.00 Dollars that you must pay.
Failure to do so will result in a cancellation of your certification and NO REFUND or reinstatement will be applied. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please make sure you read all the material, letters and notes that is included in your program and in your exams.

All rules apply to all student all World Wide. NO EXCEPTIONS.

All rules & Procedures will apply to all students enrolling in the program, NO EXCEPTIONS.

1st step:

All students must apply online and pay the fee required to execute the order for enrollment in the PTA program.

2nd Step:

Application must be approved and processed within 2 days of receipt. An e-mail will be sent to the applicant
if application is not complete or not accepted. A full refund will be applied only if application is not approved by the PTA office.

3rd Step:

Material will be shipped directly to the student’s address on the application. A proof of delivery is always applied
with a tracking number to ensure receipt.

4th Step:

All students are responsible for reading the material and taking the exams. A written exam for all certifications must
be taken and submitted electronically within the time required.

5th Step:

All students must take the practical exams proctored by a PTA IFBB director/examiner assigned by the corporate office.
For Personal trainers, the practical exam will be performed hands on at the gym.
For Nutrition Certifications, the practical/verbal exam will be performed at a location specified conveniently by the PTA office.

6th Step:

All student must do the clinical hours required for all certifications. Required Clinical hours must be applied and supervised by the PTA Director/Examiner.

For Private Trainers:

Practical internship of 20 hours are required with no extra cost to either the student of the examiner. An authorization check list must be signed by the supervising official and returned to the PTA office for credits toward the certification.

For Nutrition students:

Practical internship of 20 hours are required with no extra charge to either the student or the examiner. Internship could be done at a vitamin store, a weight loss clinic, a hospital, a PTA Director or a registered Dietitian in the area that deals with diet and nutrition therapy. An authorization check list must be signed by the supervising official and returned to the PTA office for credits toward the certification. Approval is mandatory prior to internship to insure proper education and security.

7th Step:

A CPR certification must be current or obtained during the process and time of curriculum. No internet CPR certification
accepted or recommended. CPR certification must be obtained by a hospital, fire department, police department, or school.
Red cross or American heart association CPR certification are recommended and accepted. CPR certification must be
presented along with all exams and requirements by the dead line of the material presented to the PTA office for graduation.

8th Step:

Current Drivers license is required by all students for proper identification, no exception.

9th step:

Please allow 2 weeks for exam corrections. An e-mail will be sent to you upon completion of correction of your written exam.

Remember all written exam must be typed and submitted via e-mail (electronically) no more hand written exams accepted

(we cannot read them). If a written exam is submitted, it will be returned, no time extension will be given to redo the exam.
NO HAND WRITTEN EXAM IS ACCEPTED.

10th Step:

Upon completion of all exams and CPR certification, Drivers license and required clinical hours, a certification will be issued and sent to you by registered mail. All students must pass all exams to be certified by the PTA.
