To become certified by the Private Trainers Association you must hold a HS diploma, or an Associate or Bachelors degree, or you must be a competitor and belong to an association like the IFBB, NPC, AAU, ABA, NBA, WABBA, INBA or the PNBA. You must have proof in the form of a card from your association listed above. We will be checking with all the associations for valid ID.
Private Trainers IFBB PRO Academy
The Private Trainers Association Academy is an intensive 6 week, weekend-only, course with a curriculum divided among practical application training and in-class study comprised of lectures, class discussions, and guest speakers that include IFBB professionals, business managers, nutritionists, lawyers, and doctors affiliated with the Private Trainers Association.

One On One Academy with the IFBB PROS

When preparing for any exam sitting, simply call our office so we can arrange a time for you to experience hands-on training with an IFBB professional body builder staff member.
You will be tested by an IFBB professional Private Trainer for the hands-on curriculum. Your certification is granted upon successful completion of the written exam, the practical exam and the CPR proof.

Seminars and Credits
For an on going education, the PTA will hold seminars to update it members with the latest information. All seminars will be accredited for future certification. Each seminar will have a credit value. One must collect a total of 20 credits in order to qualify for no exam re-certification. The re-certification fee is $350.00 with the credit requirements. If no credit you will have to pay the full amount. There will be a fee for all seminars. You will have the opportunity to meet top IFBB professional bodybuilders and other professional athletes at all PTA continuing education programs.

You must fill out an application to be reviewed by our staff for qualification, along with the fee. If not qualified your fee will be returned to you in full.
